Fire your Pulse-laser and fight off the relentless attacks from the Dark Empire's "Getthi" fighter planes. Take down the invading enemies and bring peace back to the skies of Planet Earth.
The blue skies gradually fade to a silent black as "STAR LASER" breaks free from the gravitational pull of Earth, and continues its journey into celestial space. Here in the Asteroid Mine Field, huge asteroid bombs left behind by the "Dark Empire" fly furiously at "STAR LASER" in attempts to crush Earth's last hope. Skillfully manuever past the deadly traps to make your way into the heart of the enemy forces!
Reinforcements from Earth arrive to fight along side with "STAR LASER"!
Blast the foes to oblivion, now with triple the firepower!
Put an end to the asteroid bombs for good, by taking out the bomb plant and penetrate into the core of the enemy quarters.

Two very familiar fighter crafts fly in to take their position at the side of "STAR LASER". To Igawa's disbelief, they are the prototype interceptors "PROCYON"...
Lieutenant Tsuda: "Don't worry captain. We've got your side covered."
Corporal DZ: "C'mon cap! Don't think you can throw a party and not invite us!"
Igawa: "Wha.. what are you two doing here!? You know that the fuel tanks for PROCYON won't last the trip back to Earth!"
"As if the captain herself had intentions of returning? I'm sure you knew too that this was a one way ticket, straight from the beginning."
says Tsuda over the radio transmission. A slight chuckle follows the lieutenant's words.
"You... fools..."
Igawa murmurs, slightly tightening her grip on the control.

At last, "STAR LASER" reaches the center of the enemy forces and succeeds in breaching the defence line of the enemy's last stronghold - the "Metal Core". As the aggressive onslaught from the enemy forces intensifies, there is no turning back now. Fight off the fierce storms of fire and win back peace for all mankind!

"Sorry cap... seems like this is the end of the line for m..."
Those were the last words from DZ.
"d, DZ!.. DZeee!!"
An unlikely ending for a young corporal who always loved to joke and clown around. Taken down while diving in to block an incoming missile for the captain. But there was no time to mourn for DZ, as the brushing enemy fire continued to shower down upon "STAR LASER" and her remaining comrade, wearing her down slowly but surely.
"Captain. I think this is where we need to make a stand"
radioed Tsuda. Twisting his spacecraft and breaking away from the side of "STAR LASER", his craft now pointed straight towards the enemy fleets.
"GO, captain! Leave them to me!"
"Wait! Tsuda! What do you think you're doing..."
"Captain! You're our last hope that we've got! If we both stay here, it's only a matter of time before we're both taken down. I'll buy time for you, so just GO!"
Igawa hesitated for a moment. But knowing there was nothing she could do, she flipped on her booster rockets and broke away from the battleline. She left no final words to Tsuda. Not even a "goodbye". Or was it that she COULDN'T say goodbye?
Tsuda looked down upon his radar and watched the signal of "STAR LASER" slowly disappearing from view, and gave a soft sigh.
"Man, why am I always like this?"
Tsuda laughed to himself - The radar screen now covered with only the bright red signals of the enemy forces.
"If only I could have told her that I loved her... Wonder what she would've said..."
Just seconds later, the nuclear reactor inside Tsuda's PROCYON exploded, lighting the sky in a beautiful red hue.

Succeeding in infiltrating the enemy fortress "Metal Core", now "STAR LASER" confronts the super-computer "Trinity", the mastermind behind this plot to exterminate human kind. Will "STAR LASER" prevail and bring victory to Earth and save mankind from extinction?

Finally, Igawa comes face to face with "Trinity", the Main Control System and the mastermind behind the Empire's sinister plots. With her finger firmly on the trigger, Igawa didn't bother to wipe the tears that ran down her cheeks.
"Damn it... It's all YOUR fault! Because of you.. DZ.. and Tsuda!"
But just when she was about to pull the trigger, the ship's main screen flashed a red warning light.
An error warning.
The FCS ran a scan on the cold, lifeless machine that lied before and identified it as a "human being".
"What!? That can't be!! Shut up, you stupid piece of..."
Igawa furiously slammed her hands upon the control panel, but the FCS continued to display the results of its analysis onto the monitor.
NGNGNGNGNGNG...
There was no mistake. All systems were sending the same message, saying that the "thing" which lied before them, was in fact a "human being". Turning pale, Igawa covered her face with her hands.
"This.. this can't be..."
The rapid advancements in medical technologies, brought many cures to what were once thought of as uncurable diseases and extended the average life span of humans considerably. Ironically though, this brought forth a new problem in the world population, and Earth became unable to sustain this ever-increasing population. Human beings had no choice but to enforce a means to control the human population.
When new life was concieved, instead of aborting these unborn babies, the embryos were taken from the wombs of their mothers and sent to the far off research centers in Mars and Jupiter, where their still-living cells were implanted into the control units of a system which was presently under development.
It was obvious now, that this Main Control Unit "Trinity" was actually a remnant which had evolved from this system created from these unborn embryos.
But this was not the only reason why Igawa could not pull the trigger.
She knew... that the DNA analyzer showed there were three signals coming from the Trinity".
And she knew... that the DNA patterns of the three, identically matched her own.
She knew.
That they were the triplets that she had concieved, and let go of over 120 years ago.
In a field covered with clovers
The skies above filled with a sea of stars.
A little girl bows down to pick a clover from the field.
A three-leaf clover.
"Come on dear, it's time to go home."
With a smile on her face, the girl turns around to her mother's call
tossing into the sky the clover which she held in her hands.
The three-leaf clover floats in the air and drifts endlessly in the sky.
